Starting a Student Affiliate Chapter

It has been a goal of the Academy for Sports Dentistry to eventually be represented in every dental school in the USA with a student affiliate chapter to the Academy for Sports Dentistry.  It is unrealistic to expect Dental Schools to comprehensively cover the subject of sports dentistry so creating a chapter would be a way to enhance your education in a fun and substantial way.

By being a member of a student affiliate chapter, every member of the Chapter is entitled to student membership at no individual charge.  There will be an annual fee assessed to the Chapter as a group.  The chapter will be given access to our journal  Dental Traumatology by having it sent to a designated email contact address and this can be disseminated to the Chapter’s members.

The student affiliate chapter will have access to the speakers list of the Academy which is designed to provide online lectures and personal interviews with a variety of sports dentists.
