ASD Certified Sports Team Dentist Course

Are you a team dentist? Do you have athletes in your practice? Are you prepared to manage trauma?

The Academy for Sports Dentistry is providing a Sports Dentist Certification Course to encourage dentists to be prepared in the field of Sports Dentistry. Two essential primary components will be the focus: preventing trauma and managing trauma when it occurs This 1.5-day course will prepare you for both topics will include: the Athletic Trainer/Dentist relationship, oral cancer screening, dental trauma prevention, dental trauma preparedness, scanning, 3D printing, mouthguard fabrication, suturing, and more!

Instructors have a combined total of over 150 years of sports dental experience covering NBA, NFL, NHL, MLS, NCAA, and high school teams. You will receive 11.25 hours of CE units.

The course will be held at Glidewell Dental Lab in Irvine, CA, February 27 & 28, 2026.
