Are you a team dentist? Do you have athletes in your practice? Are you prepared to manage trauma?

The Academy for Sports Dentistry is providing the Sports Dentist Certification Course to encourage dentists to be prepared in the field of Sports Dentistry. Two essential primary components will be the focus: preventing trauma and managing trauma when it occurs.

This online and hands-on course will prepare you for both topics. The online portion includes 6 presentations which must be completed prior to the hands-on portions. The hands-on portions will take place at the 2026 ASD Global Symposium in San Diego on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Scanning, 3D printing, mouthguard fabrication, and suturing, will be covered.

Instructors have a combined total of over 150 years of sports dental experience covering NBA, WNBA,NFL, NHL, MLS, NCAA, and high school teams. You will receive 11.75 hours of CE units.

The online and hands-on portions must be completed before ASD certification is granted.
